The Technical Talk on “Digital India” was organised by department of CSE on 24th August 2015 at Third Block Auditorium, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Faculty of Engineering, Kengeri Campus. Second year and third year BTech and first year MTech students of CSE along with faculty members were part of the talk. It was an interesting, informative and interactive session conducted by Dr. V. Siva Rama Krishnaiah, Professor of E-Governance at the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA).The session started with welcome address by Dr. Balachandran K the HOD CSE. Speaker started the presentation by explaining about the objective of the presentation on Digital India. It was mentioned that the objective is to create awareness, to understand the technologies and use innovative ideas which can play important role in digital evolution.

The talk was very informative and helped the students to understand the applications of technology and ideas in real time and how digital India plays a major role in one’s life.
Dr. Balachandran presented a memento for the guest as a token of respect and appreciation. The talk concluded with an intense question-answer session, in which many of the students received a chance to interact with guest speaker. This conscience was of immense help to the students. Indeed, this talk was yet another successful and evocative event conducted by dept. of CSE.
